In 1954 a renowned British endocrinologist, Dr. Albert T. W. Simeons, introduced HCG and paved the way for millions of men and women to lose weight following his HCG protocol diet. 

Advocating no more than 500 calories a day in combination with HCG, Dr. Simeons’ diet attracted criticism for such a low calorie intake.  Critics argued that Dr. Simeons’ was promoting a form of starvation rather than a diet.

The reality is the addition of HCG actually makes a low calorie intake bearable.  However, I know that from my own experience and those of hundreds of my patients that the HCG protocol diet is tolerable, yet challenging.  Anyone that leads a busy life will find 500 calories not nearly enough sustenance.

This is why I developed ‘The Siesta Beach Lifestyle’.  I want everyone to benefit from combining HCG with a weight loss program that still provides enough energy to sustain a busy lifestyle.  Through combining 20 grams of daily carbohydrate (with no caloric restrictions) and HCG, your body will easily tolerate this adjustment over a 28 day period.

Understanding HCG and Weight Loss

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a naturally occurring hormone in pregnant women.  The purpose of HCG is to release the mother’s stored fat supplies to ensure that the developing embryo receives enough nourishment through critical developmental stages.  

Although associated with pregnancy, the fat cells of both men and women have HCG receptors.  Administered at low doses, HCG will stimulate these receptors.  Your body will release this stored fat and slim your waistline while still maintaining muscle mass. 

In pregnant women HCG reaches levels of 17,000 units within the first trimester with no adverse side effects for mother and child.  ‘The Siesta Beach Lifestyle’ incorporates only 200-300 daily HCG units.  These low doses for weight loss are completely safe and the results are amazing. 

HCG also signals the brain to reduce hunger and cravings, making it an excellent accompaniment to a low calorie or low carbohydrate diet.  Plus, there are no reported adverse side effects that you normally associate with appetite suppressants.  You will find it easier to stick to a HCG diet and safely lose inches from your buttock, tummy, and thighs in a short time period.

How ‘The Siesta Beach Lifestyle’ Works

My book is packed full of HCG diet recipes and HCG meal plans that are easy to prepare and designed to help you achieve maximum results over the 28 day program.  For each day of the HCG and weight loss program you’ll find detailed instructions and HCG foods that equate to 20 grams of carbohydrates. 

The second part of the book identifies the importance in hormonal balance and optimization in creating a successful approach to weight loss and improvement in body composition.

While sticking to the HCG meal plans you also need to receive daily HCG injections for weight loss.  If you have an aversion to needles you can use a HCG topical cream.  I personally find that the injections provide superior results. 

In addition to suppressing hunger and cravings you’ll also notice that HCG protects structural fat.  This means that if you have wrinkles these will reduce dramatically and your overall appearance will be fresh and natural. 

After completing the 28 day program I recommend that you stop using HCG for two weeks.  If you are satisfied with the results, maintain a 30-40 gram per day, low carb lifestyle.  If you would like to lose more weight, increase your fruit and vegetable intake for two weeks and then repeat the 28 day program.
